If you’re trying to reset your Instagantt password, it’s important to know that there are two versions of Instagantt, and each one has a different password recovery process.

🔑 How to Reset Your Password in the Standalone Version

If you log in directly through instagantt.com using an email and password, you’re using the Standalone version of Instagantt.

Follow these steps to reset your Instagantt Standalone password:

  1. Go to instagantt.com.
  2. Click Login in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Login with Standalone.
  4. On the login screen, click the blue Reset Password text.
  5. Enter the email address associated with your Standalone account.
  6. You’ll receive an email with a password reset link (if the account exists).
  7. Open the email and follow the instructions to set a new password.

Tip: Check your Spam or Junk folder if you don’t see the reset email within a few minutes.

⚠️ Important:
If you try to reset your password but no account exists under that email, the reset won’t work. You’ll need to create a new account instead by clicking Sign Up for free (located on the right side of the login screen).

🔒 How to Reset Your Password in Instagantt for Asana

If you access Instagantt through your Asana account, you’re using Instagantt for Asana. This version doesn’t have a separate Instagantt password — it uses your Asana login credentials.

To reset your password:

  1. Go to asana.com.
  2. Click Log In.
  3. Select Forgot your password?
  4. Follow the steps provided by Asana to reset your password.

Once your Asana password has been updated, you can log in to Instagantt for Asana using the new credentials

💡 Note: Instagantt does not manage passwords for Asana-linked accounts. All authentication and password management are handled securely by Asana.

If you’re unable to reset your password, try these steps:

  • Confirm you’re using the correct version of Instagantt (Standalone or Asana).
  • Double-check that you entered the correct email address associated with your account.
  • Look for the reset email in your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder.
  • If you don’t have an account yet, go to instagantt.com and click Sign Up for free to create one.

No. If you use Instagantt for Asana, you must reset your password directly in Asana. Instagantt does not store or manage Asana login credentials.

If your link has expired, repeat the Reset Password process at instagantt.com to receive a new link.

Can I change my password after logging in?

Yes. To change your password in the Standalone version, simply log out of your account and follow the same password reset process described above. You’ll receive an email to create a new password.

I was invited to a workbook in Instagantt Standalone, but the password reset doesn’t work. What should I do?

When you’re invited to a workbook in Instagantt Standalone, an account isn’t automatically created for you.
If you haven’t created your account yet, you can follow these steps:

  1. On the login screen, click Sign Up for free to create your account and set your password.
  2. Once you’ve signed up, log in using your new credentials.
  3. The shared workbook will then appear in the dropdown menu on the left sidebar, ready for you to access.
